You cannot hide true character forever. Words can deceive, but actions always reveal the heart. Just as a tree is identified by its fruit, a person’s true nature is proven by what they produce in life. Look closely at the patterns of behavior, not just the promises. Luke 6:45 – "A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart."

Jesus emphasized that unless one is willing to take up the cross and follow Him, they cannot be His disciple. Are you willing to take up the cross? This involves forgiving those who have wronged you, including your husband, mother, or anyone else. It signifies a complete transformation, a new beginning. This is the crucifixion Christ is referring to - the cross. Are you willing to bear it? It will inevitably involve opposition, as Jesus Himself listed several types. You may even face opposition from those closest to you, who will think you are crazy. Are you prepared to make a stand for Christ in your workplace, home, or school? It may come at a significant cost, but that is what it means to stand. 🙏🏻
