We got 9.5 inches of snow in the last 24 hours, here in Amarillo, Texas. We hadn't had any snow since last February. Anyway, I'm praying for everyone affected by the snow storms, as well as those affected by the wildfires in California.

As Christmas approaches, remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. Remember to teach your children and grandchildren about the birth of Jesus, as depicted in the book of Luke. Have a very Merry Christmas!

When in war, the enemy will do everything he can to try and distract you, to steal from you, kill, or destroy you by any means necessary and in any way possible. If we fight not against flesh and blood, but through prayer, then our thoughts are on the front line of the battle. We MUST guard our minds and discern our feelings and thoughts correctly.

The damage it can cause if you act in a state of confusion can be detrimental. There’s something called the “Fog of War” and it’s so true. This term seeks to capture the uncertainty regarding one's own capability, and adversary intent during an engagement, operation, or campaign.The enemy attacks us in our mind, and in our perceptions. It’s SO easy to get off course.

Proverbs 14:12 says “there is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." You MUST walk CLOSELY to God, EXAMINE YOURSELF CLOSELY, and make sure you have no past traumas, hurts, or experiences that can cloud your judgement in the current situation. Because if you look a little closer, you might find that what you think is discernment, isn’t really anything other than you projecting a past memory into a present moment. If the enemy can get you to act while you are clouded in your mind, then what you try to do to help, will only end up hurting.

STAY GUARDED IN YOUR MIND. Test every feeling. The enemy loves to pose as an Angel of light, making you think something you’re feeling is from the holy spirit, when in fact, you are playing right into the attack the enemy has planned. STAY SHARP. Wear your armor - Ephesians 6. We’re on the defensive now. The enemy is already defeated in Jesus name.
