  • Are you called into the marketplace?

    .
As believers, we are not expected to live life by chance or by personal or others' decisions or choices, you are to be led of God.

    .
Living in purpose is mandatory for any believer. Some acclaimed believers say, I don't need a reward in heaven, I just want to get there. Those who say such aren't truly believers because anyone who is truly a believer would love to please God and do His will. Living a purposeful life is not just to earn a reward in heaven, it's more about living to please God on earth. A true child of God will live to please His father.

    .
If you are in the marketplace then you must be very sure that's what you are called to do and just not into it for survival.

    .
The market function like a pulpit where believers represent Christ through their actions, character, and words. Just as a pastor preaches from a pulpit in church, a Christian in the marketplace demonstrates the Gospel through integrity, kindness, excellence, and faith.

Philippians 1:27 (NIV): "Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ...".

    .
    In the marketplace, believers must:

Show honesty and integrity in business.

Treat coworkers and clients with love and respect.

Make ethical decisions even when it costs.

Share their faith when opportunities arise.

Use their profession to serve people and glorify God.

    .
Some people may never had stepped into a church but they encounter believers at the marketplace.

So as believers, we are the representative of Christ in the marketplace.

Matthew 5:16 – “ In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

  • Entrepreneurship is not just about starting a business; it is about solving problems for people. When children are taught to serve others, they begin to understand needs around them.

    .
That awareness becomes the seed of innovation, responsibility, and the mindset needed to build meaningful ventures in the future.

  • God knows the purpose of every child, but He often reveals it first to the parents. As a parent are you willing to know and guide your children accordingly?

    .
Like Zechariah in Luke 1:13–17, the angel revealed John the Baptist’s calling to his father before he was born.

    .
Parents are spiritual gatekeepers— they must hear God, pray, and guide their children into their divine calling.

  • Your child may be closer to their first business than you think.

Entrepreneurship doesn’t start with a company.

    It starts with awareness.

    .
Help your child look around and ask:
    What problem can I solve?
    What skill do I have?
    How can I be helpful?

    It could be:

    • Selling homemade snacks
    • Creating simple crafts
    • Tutoring someone

When children learn to create value, they build confidence.

When they earn honestly, they build responsibility.

Guide them. Supervise them. Teach integrity alongside income.

Small beginnings today can shape big capacity tomorrow.

    .
What small business idea can your child try this week?

Comment below — let’s inspire each other.

  • Your child may be called to be a doctor, lawyer, pilot, or entrepreneur. But regardless of the profession, they will earn money.

    They will spend money.
    They must manage money.

Financial literacy is not a career choice — it is a life skill.
    .
    Schools may teach the profession.

  • Teaching children about money doesn’t start in school, it starts at home.

Small, intentional lessons today can shape how your child earns, saves, spends, and gives tomorrow.

    .
Here are 3 simple ways to begin:
Teach them to save a portion of their pocket or money gifts, what to spend on and giving.
Help them understand wants vs needs.
    Celebrate small wins and consistency.

    .
Financial empowerment is not just about money; it’s about responsibility, discipline, and character.

    .
As Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, when we guide children early, the impact lasts a lifetime.

Start small. Stay consistent. Lead by example.

How are you teaching your child about money at home? Share below.

  • Money habits don’t start in adulthood.

    They start at home.

    .
Before a child learns ALGEBRA, they are already forming beliefs about money. If we delay financial education, we don’t delay the consequences.

    Children who are not taught:

    • Spend emotionally
    • Struggle with saving
    • Grow into adults who earn — but cannot manage

    .
Financial literacy is not extra parenting, it is responsible parenting.

    .
Prepare your children not just for income,
but for management because money magnifies who they already are.

  • Every child deserves financial wisdom early. Teaching them about saving, spending, and earning isn’t just about money, it’s about independence, confidence, and preparing them for life’s real lessons.

    .
    Start small:

Give them an allowance and let them manage it.

Teach the value of saving for what they truly want.

Show them how decisions today affect tomorrow.

Financial literacy is one of the greatest gifts you can give your children. Don’t let the world be the teacher—they might charge tuition you can’t afford.

  • Every child has a calling, and whatever your child's calling is, either it's becoming a scientist, playing sports, or running a small business, they need valuable lessons about money and responsibility. By introducing concepts like saving, budgeting, and giving early, you equip them with the tools to walk confidently in their purpose.

    .
    Tips for Parents:

Talk About Their Calling – As a parent, you are expected to know your child’s purpose and guide them through conversations about their calling.

Connect Money to Purpose – Show how saving, budgeting, and giving can help achieve their calling.

Celebrate Small Wins – Recognize effort, progress, and responsible choices, not just results.

Practice Together – Make money lessons hands-on with small, real-life examples.

Model the Way – Demonstrate purposeful money habits so your child learns by example.

Prov 22:6 shows that early spiritual and moral foundations have lasting impact; even if a child faces challenges later, the seeds planted in childhood remain and can guide them back to the right path.

    .
Let’s raise children who know their calling and live it fully!

  • Your children are not your possession — they are a divine trust.

    .
God is the giver of life, and every child carries a purpose. As parents, we are stewards, called to seek His heart and guide our children toward discovering who they truly are and called to do.

    .
In Gospel of Luke 1:13–20, the angel revealed God’s specific purpose for John even before his birth. God gave the parents clear guidance on how to raise him demonstrating that a child’s destiny is known by Him and only He can direct the proper way to nurture it.

    .
This underscores that parents must seek and understand God’s purpose for their children early, so they can intentionally nurture and align them with that calling.

    .
A child’s calling can manifest in any field: arts, business, science, or leadership, it is not restricted to church ministry.

    .
Parent with purpose. Lead with vision.

  • Many people think that doing good deeds automatically earns God’s favor. They assume that the moral quality of the action itself is enough.
For example: helping someone in need, giving charity, or volunteering. While these actions are valuable and reflect love and compassion, God’s perspective goes beyond just the act itself. What God looks at is not just the surface action, but the alignment of the action with His will and the calling He has assigned to you.

    .
The Bible repeatedly teaches that God’s work in a person’s life is tied to obedience and calling.

Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

This shows that good works are meant to flow from the purpose God designed for you. Random good deeds are very good and expected of us as believers but cannot replace doing what God preordained for you.

    .
Good intentions or acts without obedience can’t fulfill the spiritual principle of reward because reward is tied to stewardship. God entrusts each person with a unique calling, gifts, and opportunities. Failure to use these gifts in His plan means missing His purpose.

    .
Impact without purpose is limited. You may help many people in random ways, but your greatest impact comes when your efforts flow from God-given direction.

    .
Alignment matters more than volume. Doing ten good deeds outside your calling is less significant than one act done in obedience to God’s specific will for you.

    .
When good deeds are done in alignment with God’s purpose, it brings lasting impact beyond temporary results; draw divine favor and blessing because it is part of God’s ordained plan; cultivate personal growth and spiritual maturity.

    .
Good deeds without obedience = partial, limited blessing.
Good deeds in obedience to your calling = fully recognized and rewarded by God.

    .
God values purpose-driven action over mere morality. Your calling is like the blueprint, and your obedience brings your deeds into alignment with that blueprint. Only then are they spiritually “effective” in His eyes.

#obedienceisbetterthansacrifice #gooddeedscannotreplaceobedience #obedienceiskey #godonlyrewardobedience

  • Many people are aware of their gifts, sense direction, or feel a divine pull, yet struggle with consistently walking in obedience to what has been revealed to them.

    .
Obedience, in spiritual terms, is the daily decision to align your actions, priorities, and lifestyle with divine instruction whether clearly revealed or gradually unfolding.

    .
Calling requires obedience and not just awareness. It begins with revelation but sustained through obedience. Knowing your calling without acting on it leads to frustration, restlessness, and stagnation.

    .
Obedience turns assignment from an idea into a lived reality. Often, obedience does not require full clarity of the destination only faithfulness to take steps.

    .
Walking in obedience involves acting on divine instruction even when it feels uncomfortable, letting go of distractions, habits or paths that conflict with your calling.

    .
Obedience is choosing faithfulness over convenience, trusting God’s timing instead of forcing outcomes, serving quietly when recognition is absent.

    .
Obedience is not always loud or public; many times, it is expressed through consistent and unseen faithfulness.

    .
Obedience stretches your character and dependence on God; produce fruitfulness: impact spiritually, emotionally and relationally; makes you sensitive to godly correction: you are open to divine guidance and redirection.

    .
Obedience is a process: Walking in obedience does not mean perfection. It means humility, repentance when necessary, and a continual return to alignment.

    .
When you walk on Obedience, you sense alignment between your spirit and your actions; you have peace: even amid challenges, there is assurance you are on the right path.

    .
Delayed obedience can be disguised as “waiting for clarity”.

    .
Partial obedience often feels safe, but it delays fulfillment.

    .
    Ask yourself honestly:

Am I acting on what I already know God has instructed me to do?

Have I delayed obedience because the cost feels high?

Is my daily life aligned with the calling I believe in?

    .

Obedience is the bridge between calling and fulfillment.

Being called is a gift. Walking in obedience is a choice. Fulfillment comes when revelation meets consistent obedience.

  • In doing business as God's ministry:

    .
You are not the owner of your business, God is.You are just the manager of God and as a manager you are expected to ask how you want the business to serve.

    .
You are expected to make decisions with accountability to God, not just the market.

    .
You must always give fair treatment of staff and apprentices; be honest with customers and suppliers; have compassion in leadership and not exploit; create safe and dignified work environments.

    .
People should encounter God through how you operate your business, not just what you say.

    .
You do not make money at all costs; you make money ethically, responsibly, and prayerfully; you ask how your profit can bless families, communities, and future generations.

    .
Excellence is worship. You do not run a sloppy and careless business. You must be excellent in product quality, service delivery, skill training, systems and structure. When you aim for excellence, you reflect God’s nature: orderly, creative, faithful, and intentional.

    .
You pray over decisions; you seek godly wisdom, not just advice; you obey even when it’s uncomfortable. This doesn’t remove challenges but it gives direction and peace.

    .
Many people may never attend church but they will: work for you, buy from you, learn from you. Your business reaches people the church might never touch. As a business owner, you are placed by God in the marketplace ministry instead of behind pulpits so the way you operate your business and deal with people must preach louder than sermon. You must be a servant-leader who raises responsible leaders by discipling them not only economically but socially and spiritually.

    .
God will use your business to provide for people, shape character, create value, reveal His nature through your work.

    .
Your hands do the work, your business earns the income.but God gets the glory.
