Hebrews 12:5-11, Proverbs 3:11-12
The Importance of Chastening
As children of God, it's essential to understand that discipline and chastening are not punishments, but rather tools for growth and refinement. Rejecting chastening is a sign that we're not embracing our role as sons and daughters of God. The journey with the Lord isn't always easy, but it's filled with purpose and promise.
A Call to Obedience
Jesus' deliverance is not always instantaneous or problem-free. Instead, it's a journey of obedience, trust, and growth. The Lord examines our hearts and actions to ensure we're committed to following Him wholeheartedly.
The Purpose of Discipline
Discipline is not meant to harm or restrict us, but to nurture us into excellence. Its objective is:
D - Disciple's growth through
I - Internalizing God's instructions

N - Nurturing us into maturity
E - Excellence in character and conduct.
Simply put as D - Disciple's I - Instructions S -Seriously C -Conveyed & I - Intentionally P - Planned by the L - Lord I - In order to N - Nurture into E - Excellence. Read as Disciple's instructions seriously conveyed and intentionally planned by the Lord in order to nurture to excellence. That's the goal of discipline and therefore you must consistently follow and pattern your life through discipline. Grace does not neglect discipline
Conclusion
Let's embrace discipline and follow the Lord's guidance, knowing that it will lead us to excellence and a deeper relationship with Him. Don't break the chain of command; instead, follow the Lord duely and trust in His goodness. Share your thoughts, comments, or contributions with us at apostolicchargeministry@gmail.com.
