THEME: YOU NEED A SHEPHERD
TEXT: Jeremiah 3 vs 15
And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Its a danger to your faith to say you don't need a pastor or any man of God. It is the wisdom of God and the order of the kingdom of God that you must be under a man of God. This why when Jesus ascended into heaven he gave some apostle, prophets, evangelists and pastor so that the body is of christ is built.
Your man of God is the gift of God to your life, his assignment is to feed you with the knowledge and wisdom of God. There is no child who grows by himself, every child is trained by parents. Your pastor is there to train you in the things of the spirit, to teach you how to walk with God, how to serve God. Your pastor is there to help you birth the nature and character of Christ.
Your pastor watches over your soul, he has the responsibility of watch, to ensure the enemy does not attack your life. This not a physical responsibility but spiritual one, he is attentive to hear from God concerning life so that you are always in alignment with the will of God. Never choose a pastor or a Denomination by emortions but choose by revelation.
CONFESSION
Lord thank you for placing me under a man of God; its is for my spiritual growth and development, I will be attentive to every word you give him to speak to me in Jesus mighty name AMEN
