THEME: WHAT DID YOU HEAR?
TEXT: Mark 5 vs 25 - 27
And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26 - And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27 - When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
What you hear matters not only to you but also to God. What you hear triggers something in you; thoughts, emortions and desires. You have never thought of something in a particular way until you heard someone speak of it. Eve neither thought nor had the desire to eat the fruit until she heard a something from the serpent.
What the woman heard about Jesus triggered faith in her heart, "If i can only touch his garment I will be made whole". What you hear about will either bring you to God or take you away from God. What you hear will determine the action you will take. Many have destroyed their lives because they recieved the wrong information. Information shapes our perception about life and destiny. Information you accept to hear will determine the wisdom and understanding you will operate in.
This why God does not want you listening to anything else other than his word. The word of God is the true information about life and destiny. Adam lost the Garden because of wrong information, wrong information will leard you in the wrong direction. Insufficient information will limit your destiny. Our destinies thrive on the information we have recieved.
CONFESSION
From today I open my ears to hear the right information that edifies my faith. Information progresses and advances my destiny in Jesus mighty name AMEN
