Eternal choice making is the twenty second attitude. As far as eternity is concerned, there are only two paths of life available for each of us to choose and walk in: the broad and the narrow ways. You choose either to walk in.
The broad way is wide, easy and unrestricted. It is the path of carnal desires, self-independence, and worldly values. It is a way of convenience, indiscipline, pleasure seeking and comfort. He who chooses it is at liberty to sin, live by popular opinions, and indulge in all kinds of wickedness, falsehood, and dishonesty.
The broad way however leads to destruction, spiritual death and eternal damnation. Though it is a path of the crowd - for many are those who walk in it; you can choose not to follow the crowd.
The second path of life is the narrow way. The gate to it is straight and the pathway is narrow because it requires commitment, devotion, sacrifice, godliness, and obedience to the will of God. We enter the narrow path through Jesus Christ its straight gate, by being save through faith in Him. We sojourn in the narrow way by living a life of true disciples of Christ; a life of faith, pure devotion, self-control, self-discipline and complete obedience to God's will.
The big issue is that very few people walk in it. Jesus said so. Only a few men and women who willingly give up carnal pleasures and worldly values to live a fully surrendered life to the Master walk in it. Ultimately, in spite of the hardship suffered and challenges faced, the narrow path of life leads everyone who chose it to eternal bliss and eternity with God.
Thus, the Lord enjoins us to enter in at the straight gate and travel in the narrow way. Jesus Christ is the Gateway, the way to everlasting life. There is no other way given among men by which we must be saved. JESUS IS THE WAY TO HEAVEN.
So, be truly wise. Make the right choice and decision now. If you have been traveling in the broad path of life, it's not too late for you to change your choice. You can switch the path now and join the heavenly travellers in the narrow way.
