TEXT: John 8 vs 32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Its the truth you know that makes you free not just any truth but the truth according to God. We live in a word of information and the information you have will determine the kind of life you will live. In addition it's not just about the information but the source of the information you have recieved.

There is only one source of correct and accurate information that is the Spirit of God. The bible is the inspired word of God but just because you have a bible does not mean you have accurate information about God and your life. Even devil qouted scriptures when tempting Jesus. Here is how people recieve wrong information from the bible, reading the bible without engaging the Holy Spirit and secondly, reading the bible to validate their errors and weaknesses.

To know the truth of God from scripture it must be by the Holy Spirit. Anyone reading the bible without the guidance of Holy Spirit will not have accurate interpretation of God's word. When the Holy Spirit is one revealing God's word he will teach, rebuke and correct you.

PRAYER
Holy Spirit I open my heart to you, as I open my bible today open my eyes to see the truth that is hidden in the scriptures teach me, rebuke me and correct me in Jesus mighty name AMEN
