THEME: YOU CAN HANDLE IT
TEXT: Corinthian 10vs 13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
There is nothing new under the sun; what is now, has been before. There is nothing you are going through that others have not gone through. There are people who think they are the only ones who have gone through or are going through what is happening to them. Such a mentality is very bad and destructive.
This kind of a mentality can make you think that you are hopeless and helpless because it will make you magnify your problem. God does not want you magnifing your problems he want to magnify the God you carry the inside of you. This can only be done when you exalt God's word and allow it to have the final say over your situation. Never judge your life by what you are going through but by what God has said about you in his word.
What you are going through is common to men and even if you are indeed the first to be a victim of your situation, God will provide a way of escape. Anything God allows you to go through is because you can handle it, there is an ability in you that God wants to reveal. You can know what you can handle until you are faced with a particular situation.
CONFESSION
Anything that is happening in my life is common to men and I can handle it. I am a victor and not a victim in Jesus mighty name AMEN
