The Acts2 Church on Gretna, NE is where I found my Lord and Savior. I was there probably for about 9 years, and very active for about 7. Then, very unexpectedly, our Pastor's wife passed away in her sleep. I loved our Pastor! He was a good man and did an excellent job guiding the flock. But the death of his wife left him with a heavy burden, raising 3 younger girls and trying to lead us. So, about 8-9 months after his wife's death, he left the church due to the pressures. I could not blame him, we all supported him and the girls but he was in a lot of pain. So, then began a revolving door of new Pastors. But they each ended up leaving. After, I think number 5, the church closed it's doors which left me devastated. All of the Pastors spoke a lot about the body of the church and shepparding our faith. But they all left. This really soured me on the concept of church and I have not been back since. Hiw do i overcome this sense of broken trust?
