I remember a saying that says tell me who you are with and I will tell you who you are; Today I was thinking about my devotional time reading 1 Kings chapter 10, 11 and 12, where King Rehoboam decided to listen to the advice of his friends, the young people; and I despise the advice of the elders, of the wise, so the advice cost him dearly, but I wonder what would have happened if instead of listening to the advice of the young, he would have listened to the advice of the wise? and I start to think for a moment, and I tell myself how important it is to know who you are talking to? and I felt like the Holy Spirit was telling me what voices are you hearing? Or who are you lending your ears to listen to? I think it is a good time to meditate with those who we are talking to and who are listening.
