Praise God to the highest. 🙏☝️ CTTO LOST AT SEA 95 DAYS, SAVED BY JESUS Meet Maximo "Gatón" Napa, a Peruvian fisherman who says Jesus saved his life after being lost at sea for 95 days. His engine failed, leaving him stranded in the Pacific Ocean. He claims Jesus Christ appeared to him during his darkest moments, giving him the strength to survive. Maximo set sail from Marcona, Peru, on December 7, 2024, and soon found himself caught in a desperate struggle for survival after his engine failed to start. With limited food and water, Maximo resorted to drinking rainwater and he eventually ate cockroaches and birds that landed on his boat, and even a tortoise to stay alive. He credits his survival to his faith in Jesus. "I had nothing. That's when I started eating cockroaches. I woke up praying. I went to sleep praying. For almost two months, I don't think I felt his presence. I thought, 'Have you abandoned me? Why?' And I cried, as you might expect. I cried a lot, because I knew the situation I was in." In desperation, Napa promised to turn his life back to God if he saved him. "I've used drugs. And sometimes because of the drugs, I became very distant from my family. That’s why I lived alone and I was fishing alone.” 95 days later, a helicopter miraculously arrived to save Maximo. Maximo said he could he see Jesus on the helicopter next to the pilot, but when he asked the pilot about it, the pilot said no one else was on board, but that the pilot had felt like God was leading him to where Maximo’s boat was. God saved Maximo’s life, and Maximo made good on his promise to turn his life back to God, and he reunited with his family and got help with the drugs.
