Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
Well that is a first. I had this piece started and when I went to look up a reference…it literally disappeared. My hands were near my keyboard or my mouse. They were on my phone. When I went to move my mouse to start the reference, the page did not go blank…it literally vanished. So…that tells me that this is the message I am to speak of.
Another beautiful and glorious day we have been blessed with. It started yesterday and has blended its way into today. Yesterday I was released from physical therapy. They told me I was good student. I asked for a gold star, but with wonderful laughter they said that they were all out. I received hugs from my daughter and my grandkids. My daughter and I, with our antics, made the day of cashier who was checking us out…she tried to stay all professional, but when we were upset at the sign on bagging carousel (lock when not in use) because we wanted a sit and spin… she could not contain herself any longer. I also received hugs from a couple of customers…so all is well. Progress was made on the book and the best of the blessings…a solid and restful night’s sleep. Now, today is panning out to be just as glorious with my hot coffee, lovings from my dog and the beautiful songs that the birds are singing this morning. A great day.
The message that someone does not want me to present today is truth. Yep…a simple five letter word that won’t count for much on a Scrabble board, but oh how it counts in life. That five-letter word is so powerful. That five-letter word can restore and, in some cases, destroy. You may wonder why I would say that truth can destroy. Glad you asked.
When darkness has implanted itself deeply into a situation or a person…Truth…is the only way to quell the darkness. Truth is the Light of the world. Truth is illuminating. Truth is revealing. Truth … well, sometimes truth hurts….but it is the start of healing.
The item that I saw on social media was this:
“All I am saying is, if simply being truthful sounds like your employees are being (negative), that says more about the workplace than it does about the staff’s attitudes.”
This is so true in and at so many levels. The enemy would have us believe it is all about us.
This paper is so important that the enemy locked up my computer this morning. Apparently (as the attacks continue) the enemy does not want me to speak of the Truth.

Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
Continuing the truth about Truth today. My God is a mighty God and the enemy can go cry in the corner.
Yesterday I started the issue of being truthful and how truth affects others. In what appears to be, the majority of cases truth causes a fight. The person receiving it finds themselves in a defensive posture instantaneously. This is the case so often that those speaking the truth try to soften the blow of the severity so as not to offend. (I am guilty) But here is where I am today. What if … what if …. We look at this for what it ‘truly’ is. The enemy is getting his feelings hurt therefore uses whom we are speaking to as a front to attack us.
This concept dates back to when Jesus was here. When John the Baptist called out Harrod…he wasn’t gentle like ‘hey dude, this is bad. You don’t have the right to marry her’. He was totally up front and “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife. <Mark 6:18> And I am assuming that would be the equivalent of today someone saying . “you a ho”. What happened to John, Herodias had Harrod behead him. Bit of a temper tantrum extreme ya think.
Then there is Jesus himself, when the Pharisees brought him a possessed man, then called Him Beelzebub. Jesus returned the favor by expressing this “ You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good. For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. <Matthew 12:34> I don’t see any sugar coating there.
There are many more examples however, two things are true here. Truth was spoken…directly…and …. I believe in both times with love with the intent of hoping for repentance.
The problem with sugar coating an issue is that many times the true issue is downgraded so far that it is no longer an issue, and no lesson is learned. Then when the issue is repeated, the person being corrected does not understand what the problem is.
Most people who have met me have said that my bark is worse than my bite. I speak plainly and direct, thus I come off as condescending and a bully. However, those same people know that if they come to me, I will speak the truth. Anymore when I am asked “I have question for you” my reply is “I have an answer, and you may not like it”. If it is another area where I have to correct, I am blunt…and harsh sounding. It is not intentional to hurt anyone, but intentional to set the standard of importance.
