Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

I took yesterday off for the soul purpose of writing on my new novel. It was a productive day, and more than 4000 words were added. Part of me wished I had accomplished more, however, in the interim of writing other needed items need to be done as well. So I count yesterday as a complete success.

Though the sun is not up yet, the birds are singing my morning wake up you sleepy head song. My coffee is hot and body well rested and refreshed. Today, regardless of what the enemy throws, will be a glorious day.

Yesterday I did not bother to print the devotion for no apparent reason, I just didn’t. I knew that I needed to do that today. When I pulled up the dated page, the page was blank. At first, I thought that I pulled up a starter page, but I confirmed it was correct. That in itself tells me that the ‘truth’ on that paper is really setting uneasy with the enemy. I was able to recover it and get it printed; however, it is just the thought that he thought he could manipulate me with such a childish stunt. Like Jesus…I save…haha. (a little morning humor)

In the midst of writing on my novel yesterday, I was led to the 73rd Psalm. When I opened it and began reading, I was lost because the character for which this was for was anything but this. However, the more I read the verses, and the unfolding of the story in psalm, it made perfect sense for my character. It also made perfect sense for me. For me in my walk.

I encourage you to look it up and read the whole thing.

As the beginning of the psalm talks about the evil of the world and how it looks like those who do evil get everything they want at our expense, it follows through with a very important message. Though we allow our hearts to become embittered, He is always with us. Though we are harsh with Him, He is always with us. When our flesh fails us, He is there.

Today as I look at the day ahead, I know that there will be challenges that will give me options on how to react. Today I choose to be still and allow God to do His thing. Nothing in today’s travels of normal daily activities or items that the enemy wishes to throw will steal my peace. How about you?

Be blessed today my friends.

*** But as for me, I t is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds. – Psalm 73:28
