Good morning everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

Here is a quick little funny. I used to start my posts with “Good morning everyone”, but the editor check always put a ‘to’ in there, so I started using ‘to everyone’. No big deal right? So, here is the thing…today I used the to and the editor took it out. I thought I was having one of my ‘moments’ and I looked at yesterdays and guess what… ‘to’ is there …. And you all wonder why I am the way I am…haha.

The thunder is loud this morning, but the birds are singing louder. That must mean that they are very happy and embracing the incoming storm with praise. The rain just begun and though the birds are not as vocal now, there is a hint of song in the background of the rain. With each flash of lighting, the show is brilliant.

When we got the news about my father-in-law, it stung. No one (wants) to lose a parent. We want to hang on to them forever. When I heard the news, my mind immediately went to ‘forever’ and where would he spend eternity. After several attempts to locate the answer and one defensive attempt when I asked him directly, my fear was confirmed. BUT… here is the great thing about our God. He ain’t afraid of nuttn’.

As the news from the doctor yesterday has stated that the cancer has spread (dad is still in denial) and the prayers of all the warriors increasing, add to that his now curiosity…my heart is lighter that it was in the Hope that he will accept Jesus. More prayer warriors are on the train sending up unison and collaborative prayers. I believe that his eleventh hour was extended because God knows his heart and his fears. God knows that he has questions. God knows that he has memory and stage fright issues. God knows what he needs to come forward and accept Him. God knows…so God did.

I will cry when he accepts Jesus and rejoice to the fullest. Yes, I said WHEN not if. Because I serve a Mighty God.

How we approach each of our storms is how we demonstrate the Love that He has for us. I choose to keep my eyes on the sight of my Lord in the midst of my storms. It makes the right so much faster.

And just like that….the storm outside my window is done.

Be blessed today my friends.
