What is Eternal Life? Part 2 NKJV
1 John 2:18-25 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they may be made manifest, that none of them were of us.
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.
And this is the promise that He as promised us–eternal life.
John 14:1-11 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
"In My Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
"And where I go you know, and the way you know."
Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?"
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
"If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him."
Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us."
Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
"Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
"Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
John 17:1-3 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said; "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son that Your Son also may glorify You,
"as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him,
"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
