"He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. " Acts 1:7
The disciples asked Jesus what many are asking today: “Lord, what’s going to happen next?” With rising tensions in the Middle East, nuclear threats from global powers, and headlines that read like prophecy, it’s easy to get swept up in fear and speculation.
But Jesus didn’t feed their curiosity—He fueled their calling. He redirected their focus from what’s coming to what they’re called to do. He didn’t say, “Get ready to bunker down.” He said, “Get ready to go out.”
We’re not called to decode every sign—we’re called to declare the Savior. The Holy Spirit wasn’t given so we could predict the end. He was given so we could proclaim the gospel until the end.
Let’s not be a Church caught staring at the clouds or scrolling through doomsday headlines. Let’s be found on fire, doing what He told us to do—loving boldly, living righteously, and leading souls to Jesus.
Have a great day, and as always, let others see Jesus in you!
