* EVENING DEVOTIONAL – JUNE 14*
Theme: When the Watchmen Sleep
---
Scripture:
"I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night..."
— Isaiah 62:6
---
Reflection:
There is a time to sleep. But there is also a time to watch. In the spirit, watchmen are not defined by titles—they are defined by their alertness.
Many battles are lost not because the enemy is too strong, but because the watchmen were too silent.
In your family, your school, your city—who is watching?
Who is weeping for what others laugh at?
Who is praying when others are posting?
Tonight, examine your heart. Have you slept through your hour of responsibility? Have you traded your watchtower for WiFi?
The hour is late. The kingdom of darkness is not asleep.
But the fire of the remnant is rising. And if you’re reading this—perhaps you are one of the watchmen He’s calling back to the wall.
---
Prayer:
Lord, forgive me for every time I slept while You stirred me. Reignite my post. Sharpen my senses. I do not want to be counted among the blind in the time of battle. Make me a watchman again—in prayer, in discernment, in obedience. In Jesus' name, Amen.
---
* NIGHT CHARGE* :
Do not wait for a title to be a watchman. If God has placed a burden on your spirit—stand guard. Sound the alarm. Pray the fire.
