YOUR KINGDOM COME.

What is God's Kingdom or reign like?
This means that God's reign will bring about purification. It is our responsibility, however, to work towards the coming of God's reign with right action and right thought. We need to prepare for the glory of "our great God." This preparation involves changing those parts of our lives that are not disciplined. The demands of our culture can be overwhelming. We need the courage to invite God into our lives.
God's kingdom will come when God's ways are welcome in the workplace, in the family, and in all areas of our community.

The seeds of the kingdom are found in individuals and communities. The more responsible we become, the more loving and compassionate our relationships, the more justice that is present in families and communities, the more integrated we become, the more righteous and Christ-like we become, the more God's kingdom will be present here on earth. The process will change us cell by cell, so that just as a seed becomes a tree, we will reflect God's image more and more here on earth.

Our pursuit of the kingdom will involve different phases: seasons of drought and season of plenty. Seasons of drought may bring times of struggle related to loss, grief, pain, and sorrow. Season of plenty may bring times of joy, hope, restoration, and peace. God's grace will not leave us abandoned and will help to bring about God's kingdom.
