The Modern Lies of the Devil
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” – John 8:32 (KJV)
A Wake-Up Call to the Church and the World
Beloved of the Lord, we are in an age of unprecedented confusion, where deception walks on the streets unmasked, and lies are celebrated with parades. We are witnessing the climax of a war that began in the heavens — the rebellion of Lucifer — and has now manifested itself in ideologies, cultures, media, education, and even within the walls of the Church. This is not a time to slumber or stay silent. It is a time to sound the alarm, to tear the veil, and to proclaim boldly the uncompromised truth of the Gospel.
The Bible warns us in 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV):
> “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”
Satan is not resting. He is intentional, strategic, and subtle. He doesn’t always come with horns and a pitchfork — he often comes wrapped in intellect, tolerance, and false liberty. He whispers lies that sound loving but lead to destruction. This message is not written in condemnation, but in deep, holy love — the love that saves, heals, and delivers.
Let us now expose the modern lies of the devil — one by one — and respond with truth, grace, and power.
Lie #1: Pride Is Self-Worth and Empowerment
The world has rebranded pride as a virtue — a source of identity and empowerment. “Be proud of who you are!” is the chant of modern culture. But beneath the glitter lies the poison that brought down Lucifer. Pride is not empowerment — it is rebellion.
> “Thou wast perfect in thy ways… till iniquity was found in thee.” – Ezekiel 28:15
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! … For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven…” – Isaiah 14:12–14 (KJV)
The pride that causes people to reject God’s law, His design, and His authority is the same pride that transforms angels into demons.
Pride says, “I am my own truth.”
Pride says, “I don’t need a Saviour.”
Pride says, “I will do what makes me happy.”
But Proverbs 16:18 warns:
> “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”
Self-worth is only found in Christ — not in affirming fallen nature. You are valuable not because of your feelings or fame, but because Christ died for you... To be Continued.......
