“A Rainbow After the Rain”

After the flood, after the judgment, after the waiting—God gave a sign. Not just for Noah, but for every generation to come:

> “I set My rainbow in the cloud…”


The rainbow was more than just a beautiful sight. It was a covenant, a divine reminder that God keeps His promises. He promised never again to destroy the earth by flood—and the rainbow became a visual symbol of that mercy.

What makes it even more powerful is where the rainbow appears: in the clouds. In the place of the storm, in the aftermath of darkness, God sets a symbol of light and promise. It’s as if God is saying:
“Even in the clouds, I’m still faithful. Even after the storm, I’m still with you.”

In your own life, storms will come—trials, heartbreak, uncertainty. But don’t miss the rainbow. God’s promises still shine in dark places. He’s still faithful. He still sees you. He still keeps His Word.

Prayer

Faithful Father, thank You for Your covenant love. Thank You that even after storms, You give signs of Your presence and peace. Help me to trust in Your promises, even when skies are gray. Let me never forget that You are a God who keeps His Word and never leaves His people. In Jesus’ name, Amen
