All of God's elect were chosen in Christ from before the foundation of the world (Eph. 1:4), but they are called by the gospel, convicted of sin and converted by the Spirit, eternally saved and justified *in time* when they (by faith alone) receive the Lord Jesus Christ and trust completely in His imputed Righteousness for their justification in the sight of God...
