MIRACLE (15) By BBJohn
Life is like a ship wherein we sojourn. Like Jesus and his disciples, we're all inside the ship of life sailing in the massive sea of this universe.
But there will be storms; we've all faced one storm or the other. The tempestuous winds often arise while we sail "in the sea" - and it sometimes rages "so much that the ship is covered with the waves…"
The storms - every storm - arising against a man has a mission to accomplish. So, the storm of battle, trouble or problem raging against your life has a mission to break and destroy you. The disciples of Jesus knew it and cried out for help:
"Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, Lord, save us! We are perishing!" (Matthew 8:25)
They knew the storms arose to make them perish in the sea. But because they had Jesus inside their boat, they ran to Him and He saved them. He spoke to the windy waves. The storm was silent.
"... Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm." ( vs. 26)
It is very important that you have Jesus in your boat. He is the only hope of survival and peace in the eye of the storm. If Jesus isn't in your ship, you're doomed when the tempest arises.
I don't know the type of windy waves that are raging against your life, marriage, finances, ministry, and career. But I know something: 'if you truly have Jesus in your boat, there's hope for your peace.' All you need to do now is to run to Him. Call upon Him to save you from that storms. He's willing and ready to help you. Sure, He will arise and speak to that raging storms and troubling seas. And there will be a great calm. And there will be a great peace for you.
