STAND IN HIS TRUTH

Why do we allow
Rootless opinions
To wither our petals?

We fold and decay,
Letting words,
Phrases with no value,
Dull our spark.

We allow judgments,
Which have no basis,
To have uproot and cause upheaval.

Overlooking our Father,
The One who matters most.
Seeking acceptance,
From those planted,
In worldly soil.

We must prioritize God in our lives.

To keep our leaves,
From shriveling and crumbling,
At the expense of what,
Those of the world say.

Be with Him our petals bloom.
We live -- flourish.
Our identity is in Him.

Look to God.
Seek His approval.
Stand in His truth.
