Il Vescovo metodista Eduard Khegay, attualmente in servizio in Russia, ha annunciato che le quattro conferenze metodiste euroasiatiche hanno abbandonato la United Methodist Church (a causa delle sue posizioni progressive), per aderire alla Global Methodist Church (di orientamento decisamente più tradizionale). Il Vescovo Keghay aveva visitato l’Italia qualche mese fa.

Methodist Bishop Eduard Khegay, currently serving in Russia, announced that the four Eurasian Methodist conferences have left the United Methodist Church (because of its progressive positions), to join the Global Methodist Church (of a decidedly more traditional orientation). Bishop Keghay had visited Italy a few months ago.
