WE NEED TO PRAY

Battles all round us,
Skirmishes everyday,
Should serve to keep us in the mindset,
Of how much we need to pray.

The forces of such evil,
As the world can gather in array,
Enemies in vast numbers,
The grim reality, we really need to pray.

Uncertainties and difficulties,
And things happen as they may,
For these, to be in preparation,
We need to pray.

For we have a precious promise,
That will never go away.
That our needs will be provided,
If we'll take the time we need to pray.

Yes, God is watching over us,
And He says He'll always stay,
His ear is always open to us,
And all we need to do is pray.
