Good morning everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
My decision to go to the desk was a smart one for my health. The foot that has the plantar fasciitis has almost no pain. I have a high tolerance and yet it was nearing 10 most days by the time I got home. I am still adjusting to the new brain waves of responsibility but seem to be adapting. At least I think I am. Time will tell.
This morning, very early, I was in the middle of an extremely vivid dream that was not very nice…lets keep this as nice as possible. I am not sure if it was influenced by the movie on a current civil war, the news that I read yesterday or a combination of both. What I do know is after my potty break, I aske God to remove those images so that I could get back to sleep. He did one better. Not only was that image removed, but he also flooded that space with a variety of song pieces to fill those voids.
Earlier in my Christian walk, dear friends of mine who were strong believers, introduced me to binding spirits in prayer. I heard them pray in a meeting once and they each bound the spirits of the evil one and whatever he was trying to manifest, then they would cast them to dry places. They knew that just that alone would not be enough, that they needed to pray to fill that now void of space with appropriate thoughts and love. They knew that if they did not fill the void, the evil would return worse than it began.
As I grew in my walk, I found these scriptures and explanations. I learned about the binding, casting, and filling. I use this in my prayers often. This morning, God knew what I needed so he did it for me. He kicked out uglies and brought in the strength. Even as I type this, ‘devil get behind me’ is on repeat in my mind.
One of my favorite verses to quote is Mathew 15:13 – He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots.”
I like this verse because it explains that if God did not plant it, it will die. If there is no root, there is no life. I pray this over illness. I pray this over strife. I pray this over tribulation. I pray this over disbelief. I pray for this a lot.
In addition to this particular prayer, when the atmosphere is dark and the personal spirit is low, I will bind those spirits, cast them away to desert dry places and indwell those places with the peace, grace, joy, and love of our Father. I have seen firsthand, a lightened tone to those who have received this prayer. I have experienced this lightning firsthand when it was prayed over me.
God has not given us the spirit of fear or doubt, but one of power with Him to overcome life’s struggles. If He can remove a dream and replace it with powerful music, don’t you think that he can help you in your time of need.
Take a moment today and sit with Him. Crawl up on his lap and tuck your head into his chest. Listen to His heartbeat. Feel His presence in your spirit. Know that you are not alone. Whatever the issue…He is with you. Talk to Him.
Be blessed today my friends.
***If you make the Most High your dwelling – even the Lord, who is my refuge – then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. – Psalm 91:9-12
