The prophetic office has existed since time immemorial and has never ceased. The Prophet's Role A prophet speaks for God, walking under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The Divine voice speaks in the Spirit before the human vessel makes the pronunciation. It is settled in the Spirit first before a prophet ever makes a prophecy or says it out. A Call to Authenticity Where are the prophets of this generation? How are you preparing yourself? Do you have a personal relationship with the Father, or are you following the trend of the prophetic to stand? The scriptures say, "Woe to the prophet who steals words from another" (Jeremiah 23:30), meaning you must sit with the Lord to be able to speak for Him.
