Don't ignore the warnings or advice given ahead into your future because of your present comfort - when a sudden shift comes your way, it will be disastrous.
In acts 27, Paul who was held a prisoner was meant to be transported to Rome for his trial having be kept under the watch of a Roman centurion named Julius. They sailed on the sea and there was a strong wind that blew their way making the journey difficult among other happenings
Paul advice them on the ship to follow a particular route and avoid a disaster to come but they ignored his warning.
Sooner or later the wind became great and they began to throw in their goods, the ship equipment etc into the sea to lighten the ship.
On seeing that Paul's prophecy was coming to pass they all gave up hope of being saved.
Like the days of Paul this is what happen to people whom God reveals what he is about to do by the mouth of the prophet and simply ignored -Doing such always comes with a heavy cost
Always be alert to hear the voice of God, you will not only save yourself but those whom God has brought along your path.
Paul stood his ground, hold unto God's word that he will not perish and reach his destination, he boldly declare God's word even though it was ignored (this should be a lesson to us as Christians that atimes those you speak to concerning the things of God will not take heed, we shouldn't be discouraged) ; but when it finally came to pass he became a Hero.
