2 Timothy 3:16; "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." We all have our reasons for following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, but there are those who still feel fear and torment when they affirm Christ in their lives. I testify that we walk by faith, and that means that the Spirit of God, not self, guides and perfects us in Christ. Moroni 10:32. We know that "...perfect love casteth out all fear..."1 John 4:18. and we further know that "God has a plan for us;" Jerimiah 29:11. With that said, I exhort you to try affirming the Lord with complete abandon. Lift up you heart and receive God in his truth. As Moroni put it, Moroni 10:32; "Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in Him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is His grace sufficient for you, that by His grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God." God is love and light, and while we fear God, we are not to be bound by inordinate fear and torment. Try praying for God's truth to be manifested according to your understanding.
