When we are baptized in the Spirit, we are brought into the same reality as we will know in heaven. The Holy Spirit is the Holy One; He manifests God supernaturally and Divinely as well as physically. Holy Spirit baptism links us to heaven in a way we have never experienced before.
THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE ONE WHO BROUGHT the operation of God down to us. He is that link between heaven and earth. When we are baptized in the Holy Spirit, the Gospel is brought home to the children of earth. We get into God’s storm clouds of the latter rain. We are soaked in the Spirit. Wherever we go after we have been in the Upper Room, we will carry signs and evidences of it. God will be with us in a new way, making it hard to conceal the signs. Our lights will shine as we meet all travelers on the road. And we will not be alone, for others coming behind us will carry the same signs of a supernatural link to heaven.
