THAT HEAVENLY PLACE.

I am longing for that heavenly place,
That God given, heavenly homeland;
A place attained by amazing grace,
Where the fellowship is sweet and grand!

Oh what bliss,
for our Savior is there,
Where we shall behold Him,
face to face;
Forever in His love and care,
In that glorious and heavenly place!

We'll stand before our Lord forgetting,
All of our earthly woes and sorrows;
Our old nature gone,
no more regretting,
Oh the bliss of endless tomorrows!

Is your heart also filled with longing,
For heaven's fair and glorious palace,
Is your heart to Christ belonging,
Have you drank from salvation's chalice?
