What is ministry, that depends. What has God called you to. Four years ago while headed to the south pacific to transport medical missions teams we stopped in Central America on our boat because covid had the path ahead closed. We met a young man who was missing his hand. We found a way to make him one. That was over 120 hands and arms ago. God planted us right where He wanted us. Doing the impossible. 3D printing upper arm prosthetics on a boat! We've found that here to have a limb difference means brutal bullying for children. Loss of employment for adults. Rejection even by family. But with that printed prosthetic everything changes. Kids are treated like a folk hero. Adults find jobs. There is still stigma in some communities but God is chipping away at that. Many of these people are Christians, but with little hope. God cares. God transforms. Without big fundraising campaigns, loud PAs, etc. One person at a time. It's strange how some in the first world have given us a hard time! Long stories not worth repeating. But I think of cases like this beautiful young lady. She had not set foot outside her home in four years. Her world has just changed for her and her family. A simple gift from God, a life changed. Keep your eyes open for the things God is putting in your path, not just your preconceived ideas of how God works.....
