The Jews Guilty as the Gentiles
Romans 2:17-25 Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God,
and know His will, and approve the things that are excellant being instructed out of the law,
and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,
an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having the form of knowledge and truth in the law.
You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal?
You who say, "Do not commit adultery," do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law?
For "the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you," as it is written.
Circumcision of No Avail
For circumcision is indeed profitable if you keep the law; but if you are a breaker of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
Jeremiah 9:25 "Behold, the days are coming," says the LORD, "that I will punish all who are circumcised with the uncircumcised--
Hosea 4:4-6 "Now let no man contend, or rebuke another; For your people are like those who contend with the priest.
Therefore you shall stumble in the day; The prophet also shall stumble with you in the night; And I will destroy your mother.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
Romans 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh;
but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.
Jeremiah 9:26 "Egypt, Judah, Edom, the people of Ammon, Moab. and all who are in the farthest corners, who dwell in the wilderness. For all these nations are uncircumcised. and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart."
Leviticus 26:40-42 'But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, with their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, and that they also have walked contrary to Me,
and that I also have walked contrary to them and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if their uncircumcised hearts are humbled, and they accept their guilt--

"When you brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My sanctuary to defile it--My house--and when you offered My food, the fat and the blood, then they broke My covenant because of all your abominations.
