Jeremiah 9:23-26 In Detail From NASB Key Word/NKJV Thompson to NKJV Thompson Part 2
Psalm 49:6-9 Those who trust in their wealth And boast in the multitude of their riches,
None of them can by any means redeem his brother, Nor give to God a ransom for him--
For the redemption of their souls is costly, And it shall cease forever--
That he should continue to live eternally, And not see the Pit.
2 Corinthians 5:4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.
Jeremiah 9:24 But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the LORD.
Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
Psalm 44:8 In God we boast all day long, And praise Your name forever. Selah
Jeremiah 4:2-4 And you shall swear, The LORD lives,' In truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; The nations shall bless themselves in Him, And in Him they shall glory."
For thus says the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem; "Break up fallow ground, And do not sow among thorns.
Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, And take away the foreskins of your hearts, You men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, Lest My fury come forth like fire, And burn so that no one can quench it, Because of the evil of your doings."
Jeremiah 31:34 "No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every nan his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."
Glory Only in the Lord
1 Corinthians 1:26-31 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
that no flesh should glory in His presence.
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God--and righteousness and sanctification and redemption--
that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the LORD."
