Remember God's Way of Salvation KJV International Self-Pronouncing 1942 Part 1
2 Peter 3:10-18 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Je'sus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever, A-men'.
The disciples comforted
John 14:1-12 LET not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that were I am, there ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Thom'as saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Je'sus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also; and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Phil'ip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Je'sus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Phil'ip? he that hath seen me hath seen the father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Believeth thou not that I am in the Father, and the father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself; but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works' sake.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Psalm 51:6-13 Behold, thou desireth truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, OZ God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
