Good morning everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
Last night was a rough night. I got off work on time. Had breakfast for dinner. Enjoyed some cooking competitions on television. Went to bed at a reasonable hour and yet, I did not sleep worth a doo doo.
This morning seems to be a bit of a squirrel moment. Probably because my brain is not braining properly right now.
The birds are singing a beautiful morning song. The temperature ins cool in the house but not cold. The dog is dogging like normal looking for unending pets. However, giving such pets makes very difficult to type. My second left arm is in the shop.
Because my brain is not focusing and third arm for pets is not available, I wanted to share this to let you know that it is okay. We don’t always sleep the best for no apparent reason. We don’t always wake up fresh eyed and bushy tailed. We don’t always hear the birds. We don’t always feel the coolness of His presence and the warmth of His love. This is normal.
It does not mean that He is upset with you. It does not mean that He has left you. It does not mean that you have made Him mad. It simply means that we have to be extra diligent in our walk, because it is times like these that the enemy inserts himself into our thoughts and causes a ruckus. It is in these time that we need to lean in on the Father and listen closely for that still small voice.
If you are having a morning like I am, then you need to focus on all the Light that you can see and press into Him. As chaos begins, seek earnestly for peace. Even if the only peace that you can see is a squirrel playing in the yard. It is in times like these that we need Him even closer. Our eyes, ears, and heart need to be more in tune with the beating of His presence. Seek him in all your steps today and look eagerly for His peace.
Be blessed today my friends.
