Few ministers have shaped my spiritual walk from a distance as profoundly as Dr. John MacArthur.

Though I never met him personally, his unwavering commitment to Scripture became an anchor during my early years in ministry. Especially when I was navigating weighty doctrinal questions and wrestling with the will of God.

It was through 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 broadcasts and his verse-by-verse expository teaching that I found clarity and conviction. He didn’t preach to impress—he preached to be faithful. And his reformed, Christ-centered theology continues to influence how I teach, lead, and live.

Dr. MacArthur stood firm through decades of cultural shifts and theological battles—not for applause, but for the authority of God’s Word. His work at 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 reached far beyond the pulpit.

I must also mention the late Dr. R.C. Sproul—another giant whose teachings helped me see the beauty and sovereignty of God in every line of Scripture. Together, their voices guided me in seasons when I had no physical mentor beside me.

Dr. MacArthur’s legacy reminds me that faithfulness outlives the one who carries it.
