MY POEM ON "ONE DAY"
One day, I'll go to that fair land,
A land on a far away strand,
Where forever I will reside,
And walk its lanes with Christ beside.
Oh how sweet the fellowship there,
Never more a worry or a care;
Loved ones that have gone on before,
Will be there to greet me at the door.
Oh what a grand day that will be,
When loved ones I will again see,
No more to walk by faith, but by sight,
Gone forever my earthly plight.
A body grown old now made whole,
My name's written down on God's scroll';
Oh the joy and oh the wonder,
The beauty of that land yonder.
Truly it will be a fair land,
That land on a far away strand;
Soon no more my heart's deep longing,
Praise God to Him I'm belonging!
One day, I'll go to that fair land,
A land on a far away strand,
Where forever I will reside,
And walk its lanes with Christ beside.
Oh how sweet the fellowship there,
Never more a worry or a care;
Loved ones that have gone on before,
Will be there to greet me at the door.
Oh what a grand day that will be,
When loved ones I will again see,
No more to walk by faith, but by sight,
Gone forever my earthly plight.
A body grown old now made whole,

Oh the joy and oh the wonder,

Truly it will be a fair land,
