Psalms 25:4-5 RSV
Psalms 25:4-5 Make me to know thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me, for thou art the God of my salvation; for thee I wait all the day long.
Exodus 33:12-14 And he said, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
And he said, to him, "If thy presence will not go with me, do not carry us up from here.
Joshua 21:43-45 Thus the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers; and having taken possession of it, they settled there.
And the LORD gave them rest on every side just as he had sworn to their fathers; not one of all their enemies had with-stood them, for the LORD had given all their enemies into their hands.
Not one of all the good promises which the LORD had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.
Numbers 23:17-24 And he came to him, and, lo, he was standing beside his burnt offering, and the princes of Mo'ab with him. And Ba'lak said to him. "What has the LORD spoken?"
And Ba'laam took up his discourse, and said, "Rise, Ba'lak, and hear; hearken to me, O son of Zip'por;
God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfil it?
Behold, I received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot revoke it.
He has not beheld misfortune in Jacob; nor has he seen trouble in Israel. The LORD their God is with them, and the shout of a king is among them.
God brings them out of Egypt; they have as it were the horns of the wild ox.
For there is no enchantment against Jacob, no divination against Irael; now it shall be said of Jacob and Israel, 'What has God wrought!'
Behold, a people! As a lioness it rises up and as a lion it lifts itself; it does not lie down till it devours the prey, and drinks the blood of the slain."
Isaiah 63:7-10 I will recount the steadfast love of the LORD, the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has granted us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel which he has granted them according to his mercy, according to the abundance of his steadfast love.
For he said, Surely they are my people, sons who will not deal falsely; and he became their Savior.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
But they rebelled and grieved his holy Spirit; therefore he turned to be their enemy, and himself fought against them,
Hosea 1:8-11 When she had weaned Not pitied, she conceived and bore a son.
And the LORD said, "Call his name Not my people, for you are not my people and I am not your God."
Yet the number of the people of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea, which can be neither measured nor numbered; and in the place where it was said to them, "You are not my people," it shall be said to them, "Sons of the living God."
And the people of Judah and the people of Irael shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint for themselves one head; and they shall go up from the land, for great shall be the day of Jez re'el.
Hosea 2:21-23 "And in that day, says the LORD, I will answer the heavens and they shall answer the earth;
and the earth shall answer the grain, the wine, and the oil, and they shall answer Jez re'el,
and I will sow him for myself in the land. And I will have pity on Not pitied, and I will say to Not my people, 'You are my people'; and he shall say, 'Thou art my God.'"
