This profound statement reveals the mystery of God's manifold wisdom. "I Am" is not just a name; it's a declaration of God's self-existence and authority. Man's Identity and Responsibility The first man, Adam, failed to take responsibility for his actions, blaming his wife and even God. In contrast, Moses, after 40 years of preparation, was ready to embody the "I Am" principle. God works in us both to will and do His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). Retracing Our Origin "I Am" is a reminder of our origin in God. As believers, we can tap into the power of "I Am" and declare our identity in Christ. "I Am" is not weak, sick, or slumbering. We can say, "I am not weak, I am not sick," because "I Am" is our reality.
