Good morning everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
I have a simple question for you today. Are you so focused on the ‘end times’ and the prophecies that are unfolding right now, that you have forgotten to just live as Jesus asked you to?
To be honest, I have found myself starting to fall into that trap. However, if you are a true follower … does it really matter the ‘when’?
We are called to serve. We are called to love. We are called to teach. We are called to demonstrate His life. The focusing on the ‘end times’ turns our attention away from what He wants us to do. That is … gather as many souls for the Kingdom as we can. To help as many lost as we can. To love like He loved.
Yes, it is important to recognize the signs and the significance of the signs … however … if that is your focal point every day … then you are missing out on so much. Scripture tells us that “only the Father knows” and it also tells us to “not be anxious about anything”. If you are Christian … then all you need to do is make sure your heart is prepared and wait for THE Call.
I believe that the enemy is using the unfolding prophecies to detract our attention from seed planting and watering. If we focus on the ‘end’ then we will quit saving the present.
Today I encourage you to sit with the Father and ask him to reveal those areas in YOUR life that need to be corrected. Ask Him to help you to take the Boy Scout motto to a whole new level. Lets make sure we ARE PREPARED, so when the trumpets sound … we are not left here on the ground.
Be blessed today my friends.
***Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. –Philippians 3:13-14
