Why Leaders Fail –
Biblical Reasons for Leadership Failure:

1. Pride:
According to the Bible, “Pride goes before destruction” (Proverbs 16:18). Many leaders become proud of their status and authority, ignoring God’s guidance.

2. Lack of Obedience:
There are many examples in the Bible where God’s chosen people failed because they did not obey Him (e.g., King Saul – 1 Samuel 15).

3. Moral Failure:
When leaders fall into personal or moral sin, they lose their spiritual and moral authority (e.g., David’s failure with Bathsheba).

4. Weak Spiritual Relationship:
The Bible emphasizes maintaining a strong relationship with God. Leaders who neglect prayer, the Word, and spiritual discipline become ineffective.

5. Desire for Power Instead of Service:
Biblical leadership is about serving others (Matthew 20:26). When leaders seek control and dominance, they deviate from God’s path.
