*THE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST (PART 2).*
Acts 9:5-6 (KJV)..... *And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.*
[6] *And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.*
To understand the Lordship of Christ and to come upon its supervision, it is very important to understand the 3 arms of the Lordship of Christ. These are the arms of its operation, and it is by these 3 arms it finds its operation and function in the lives of believers today.
The first is THE LORDSHIP OF THE BLOOD. To understand and come under the Lordship of Christ, you must understand the Lordship of his blood. It is important to know what the blood did for us and what we can do today with the word.
Hebrews 10:4 (KJV)...... *.For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.*
Hebrews 9:12 (KJV)...... *.neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.*
Ephesians 1:7 (KJV)...... *In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;*
This is to show that it was through his blood and only his blood that we came to him. His blood paid for our redemption and purged us, and nothing more can do that which his blood didn’t do. You can’t improve on what his blood did.
Revelation 12:11 (KJV)....... *And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.*
This is how we overcome today and forever. Outside this, then it is a vain pursuit. Be guided.
Prayer:
Oh, how I love your blood. For it paid for my redemption and purchased my salvation. And by it, I overcome today in Jesus name. Amen.
