*DEVOTIONAL COMPANION*

*THE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST (PART 3)* .

Acts 9:5-6 (KJV)...... *And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.*

[6] *And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do* .

The second arm of the Lordship of Christ which everyone who calls himself or herself a child of God should come under is called *THE LORDSHIP OF THE WORD* . It was by the word he made all things both visible and invisible. I mean the word created all things.
John 1:3-4 (KJV)..... *All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.*

[ *4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men.*

You can’t claim to have submitted or come under the Lordship of Christ and not love THE WORD.

Psalm 119:11 (KJV)....... *Thy word have I hid in mine heart, That I might not sin against thee* .

This is how we escape not sinning against the Lord: it is by keeping his words in our hearts. You will meditate upon the word because that is how you hear the voice of your master and Lord daily.

Psalm 119:15 (KJV)...... *I will meditate in thy precepts, And have respect unto thy ways.*

Failure to do this and heed to what it says means you are not submitted to the Lordship of Christ because it was the word made flesh that became the Christ, John 1:14(KJV).
Be guided.

Prayer:
Lord, thank you for giving my life through your word. I submit to the Lordship of the word today for my own benefit and spiritual growth in Jesus name. Amen.

Bible Reference: Psalm 119: 1-45, John 1:1-14.

Wisdom Capsule:
Proverbs 11:10 (MSG)..... *When it goes well for good people, the whole town cheers; when it goes badly for bad people, the town celebrates.*
