*DEVOTIONAL COMPANION*

*NO OFFENCE IS GOOD ENOUGH TO DESTROY (PART 4)*

Luke 17:1 (KJV)..... *Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!*

There is no perfect church. It is the Lord Jesus who perfects his church. If you think there is any church on the face of the earth without issues and where you find perfect leadership, then you lie. We are all trying and believing.

Don’t judge a structure or a people by the settings or by the look of the building or how beautiful it looks. You just go in and worship Jesus and come out, but the day you decide to join the workforce or to wait after service, then you will begin to see and hear. And that might judge your faith.

Our Lord Jesus said, It is impossible that offences will not come. If I don’t offend you, then you will offend me. They will offend you in that department. You will hear things that are negative about people or about yourself. You might even hear or see things about your leaders, but none of these things are good enough to destroy or tear down a church.

If you are looking for a church where the leaders and her people have no issues, then I beg you to find that and the only place you can find such is in heaven. But as long as this earth is concerned and as long as people are in that place, it is impossible that offences will not come.

If your service or attendance is affected by what you heard or saw, then I bet you were never there in the first place. If God made you the head of a department or church, expect people to see flaws in you too. The reason you find some of these flaws is so we can always go back to God in prayers and fully depend on him, knowing that without him we can do nothing. Hallelujah.

Prayer:
I thank you for this your word and I declare that I depend totally on you everyday for my faith walk. Amen.

Bible Reference: John 15:1-25 (AMP).

Wisdom Capsule:
Proverbs 11:15 (MSG)..... *Whoever makes deals with strangers is sure to get burned; if you keep a cool head, you’ll avoid rash bargains.*
