MIRACLE (30) By B.B.John

In Mark chapter eight, Jesus entered Bethsaida and the people brought a blind man to him that He might touched and healed him. But Jesus didn't touch the man immediately. Rather, He took him by the hand and led him out of the town. I just want you to imagine seeing Jesus walking with and leading a blind man.

The first lesson for us to learn here is this: Jesus wants to walk alongside and lead everyone who is physically or spiritually blind. In spite of your blindness or problem, He desires to lead you in the way to true and total healing.

Back to our story: Jesus led the blind man to the outskirts of the town, spat on his eyes, and laid hands on him. But when He asked the man if he saw anything, the Bible says, the man "... looked up and said, I see men as trees, waking."

From the man's answer, Jesus knew the man's sight wasn't yet perfectly restored. He's partially healed only. This led Jesus to give Him a second touch, which eventually brought total healing for the man.

"After that he put his hands again upon his eyes and made him to look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly." (Mark 8:25)

Here is the big lesson for us: 'Our partial healing state and imperfect healing, and incomplete victories only need a second touch and God is willing to give us the touch. Yes, the Lord's desire for us is complete healing, complete victory, perfect joy, a state of wholeness and total fulfilment in life. This is His desire for us in all areas - physically, spiritually, financially and maritally.

We are all qualified to ask for His second touch for clearer vision and progressive advancement.
