MY POEM ON "TRUE SUCCESS"

Success is not the car you drive,
Nor house that shows you're "most alive."
It's not the ring, the wedding day,
Or riches stacked along your way.

It's not the fame or crowd's applause,
Nor breaking through the world's applause.
Success is far more true.
It's what Jehovah says of you.

When all is done and time is gone,
And every crown is laid upon,
There stands a Book, pure, full of light.
Where names are written shining bright.

If your name is found in there,
You've reached a joy beyond compare.
Not gold, not wealth, not earthly pride,
But eternal life at Jesus's side.

So chase not what will fade away,
But seek the Lamb and walk His way.
For true success, bot now and then,
Is hearing, "Welcome home, amen."
