There’s a demon in the group chat.
And no, that’s not just a dramatic metaphor. It’s spiritual reality.
Some of the warfare you're experiencing didn’t come from a witch.
It came from access.
From conversations.
From unguarded connection.
Spirits don’t only enter through altars and rituals —
they enter through influence.
Through gossip. Through bitterness. Through subtle rebellion disguised as advice.
Through the voice that keeps pulling you into cycles God already broke.
Satan doesn’t always use strangers. He uses proximity.
Judas sat at the table.
Ate with Jesus.
Walked in miracles.
But his heart was not in alignment with the kingdom.
Luke 22:3 says:
"Then Satan entered Judas, one of the Twelve..."
— not a Pharisee, not a Roman — someone close.
Some of you are trying to figure out why your peace is gone,
why the clarity faded,
why the fire you had last week suddenly feels buried under confusion and emotional weight.
Check your circle.
Check your messages.
Check the spirit behind the last voice that spoke into your decision.
Not every conversation is innocent.
Some of them are carriers — of fear, of doubt, of spiritual contamination.
Galatians 5:7 says:
"You were running well. Who hindered you?"
That question is just as spiritual as it is personal.
It’s not about being rude.
It’s not about thinking you’re better.
It’s about protecting what’s sacred.
God isn’t just refining your heart — He’s pruning your circle.
Because you can’t carry the glory and the gossip.
You can’t run with fire and still entertain what’s feeding your flesh.
This isn’t a call to cut everyone off out of offense —
It’s a call to wake up to the assignment behind the access.
Proverbs 4:23 says:
"Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life."
Guard your peace.
Guard your purpose.
Guard your prophetic ear.
There are demons hiding in plain sight —
in laughter, in group chats, in prayer circles, in “harmless” messages.
Don’t just rebuke darkness in the air.
Start discerning it in your connections.
Let this be your prayer:
“Father, show me who is sent and who is simply attached.
Give me the courage to choose alignment over emotion.
I cancel every demonic influence disguised as friendship.
In Jesus’ name — amen.”
If this hit your spirit, it wasn’t random.
This is your moment to clean house — in the spirit.

Sometimes the demonic attacks come from within our own circle. I have experienced this in ministry. It is important to know where the attack is coming from so we can respond accordingly.
I remember one season in my life I had warning dream after warning dream. Some of them were about snakes getting close to me and trying to attack me. During that same season I had a friend reach out to meto pray with me because the Lord prompted them to. We had a very powerful time of prayer and during that prayer the Lord prompted me to ask Him to remove any snakes from my garden and He also revealed I had several Judas in my life.
At first I didn’t really know what that meant. I was thinking friendships, but then He led me to start thinking about who Judas was to Jesus. Jesus was Judas’ teacher and mentor so that gave me a whole other idea about what the Lord was referring to.
We can be going about our lives doing ministry and doing our best to help others, but the ones that come to us may not come with Godly intent. I don’t say this to speak fear at all. I never operate in fear, but it is good to ask the Lord to raise up a hedge of protection against anyone who comes with the wrong intent and ones from a demonic driven source.
