Our earthly life has been conceived by a loving God to be a test and a source of growth for us all.

From the beginning, the tests have not been easy. We face trials that arise from having a physical body. We all live in a world where Satan's war against the truth and against our individual bliss is intensifying. It probably seems to you that the world and your life are in increasing shambles.

My reassurance is this: the loving God who has allowed those trials for you has also provided a sure way to get through them.

Heavenly Father loved the world so much that He sent His only begotten Son to help us. His Son Jesus Christ has given his life for us. Jesus Christ bore in Gethsemane and on the cross the weight of all our sins;

felt all the burdens, pains and effects of our sins so that he could comfort and strengthen us through every trial of life.

As this truth penetrates deep into your heart, I pray that your faith in Him will grow, that you will feel more hopeful and optimistic, and that you will feel the pure love of Christ for others and for yourself.
